Barista

Join our barista team if you have a passion for coffee, tea and all things cake! We are a small but busy café and have two, two-group La Marzocca machines which are on the go all day. We use Union Coffee, popular Prince & Sons tea and a range of delicious homemade cakes. Work alongside our fun and lovely baristas and wait-staff and help to bring a professional yet warming service to all our lovely customers.

Not fully confident with coffee yet? We can offer you training so you can be preparing coffee and steaming milk to high standards in no time.

Kitchen – Cook

We pride ourselves on using fresh and local produce in all our menu items at Driftwood. Work with the other cooks in the kitchen to help prep and make fresh to order breakfasts and lunches. The kitchen is a fast-paced environment, so an upbeat and fast work ethic is essential!

Kitchen – Porter

Like being behind the scenes? The Kitchen porter is one of the most important jobs at Driftwood, we can’t serve customers if there’s no clean plates! Just like all other positions at Driftwood, this position is fast-paced so organisational skills are key. Work alongside other members of the team to ensure the wash up area is kept on top of, as well as communicating with front of house staff to ensure the café is stocked and looking lovely.

Waiting Staff

Join our wait staff team to get to know our regular and new customers serving them food, drinks and cakes all day from 9am. We like our café to feel welcoming, so a positive attitude is important to ensure that our customers receive a warming yet professional service. We are a busy café so organisational and communicational skills are key as you work closely alongside the rest of the team to take orders, deliver food and ensure our customers have everything they need during their visit.
